I was directed to a lovely blog yesterday and found yet another person, or several if you read the comments, enamored by the red and blue (light blue/turquoise/teal) color combo. I have been a member of this admiring group for some time and after reading that post was prompted to capture a sample of my red and blue on camera.
Thanks again, Jess, for the pretty banner.
I too love this color combination! It is fresh and light, bold and beautiful, crisp and clean! I can't get enough!
ReplyDeleteIndeed, this is a classic combination & I love how you've used it in your home. My problem is an inclination to try to use all my favorite mixes...then it looks like a crayon box exploded!
ReplyDeleteTeal & Red is one my favorites too! Love your header and those photos!
ReplyDeleteI love this combo too! I am thikning of using it for my 8 year old twins room re-do.
ReplyDeleteI'm trying to convince my boyfriend that we like this color combo, since we'll be combining households in April/May. He's... coming along.
ReplyDeleteGreat color combo! It looks perfect with your banner!
ReplyDeleteCount me in on this color combo. When I was graduating with my master's degree, saying goodbye to professors, fellow students, and art therapy clients that I loved very much, for some reason everything I made was with this color combination. For that reason, I associate it with "goodbyes" and "moving ons." Every time I see it, it catches my eye! Your new banner is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome. :) Those pix look great on your blog!
ReplyDeleteCheck out this red and blue fabric!
ReplyDeletehttp://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=20866967 It matches your banner.
I'm a huge fan of that colour combo myself! The only thing is that our house is mostly grey, taupe {&and dark browns} and vibrant cerulean blue, which mean a pop of red is probably not going to look as great! XD {That and the husband won't let me re-paint >___> }
ReplyDeleteit's my favorite color combo!!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it just gorgeous, I love this too.
