Apple recipe No.1

Time to use those apples! Our first baking adventure was this Chunky Apple Cake from Southern Living. I've made it in years past with a hand-me-down copy of the recipe and never knew it had cream cheese frosting. We like it so well without that I can't really imagine it with the frosting. One case where ignorance is bliss, I suppose. (That's my waist talking). Now I need to get on to our yearly applesauce and then try out some new recipes.

That apple cake stands on it's own! I would just save the cream cheese frosting to eat straight out of the bowl.....

I thought you might like this awesome new movie! It is called Come What May! It supports the fight for life, inspires the Godly marriage and encourages purity. You can even veiw it free today and tomorrow yet! It is so worth the time. I am trying to get the word out before everyone goes to vote, too!
It was made by over 40 homeschoolers! Way to go homeschoolers! A+
