Holiday Wrap

I was thinking of posting some ideas for holiday gift wrapping, but haven't gotten my act together. Here's just one idea. A sample from last year. This is a felt pocket, basically, with a felt tree sewn on and tiny pompoms glued on top. I didn't have a specific gift in mind when I made it, but it ended up being exactly the size of a DVD. I was inspired by this cute doll wrap, ( which I should try soon, I think my kids would be into it now!) over at Angry Chicken. I meant to make a snowman wrap, too, but never got around to that. Maybe this year. But then again....

I was the lucky one on the receiving end of this, and it is the sweetest pouch! Makes me think of the "Grinch" Christmas tree, on the cute & funky side!

VERY pretty! But I know none of my gifts will get wrapped in one this year... I'll have enough trouble just getting them wrapped in 'paper' in time. ;-) Looks like a nice winter project for AFTER Christmas in preparation for next year (yeah, like I did the stockings last winter, eh Jess?).

Oh, my pile of good intentions is so high! If only I didn't like playing on the computer so much. ;-) But I'd better go get started on that wrapping........

Cute pouch! I think an after-Christmas tutorial would be great! Maybe in some spring colors?

You have a nice blog, by the way. Be back soon!
