Chicago does Spring

These are a few pics of lovely blooms in our neighborhood. Just a sample. And this is nowhere near any areas that have been specially landscaped and beautified for the city. Ahhh...such a welcome relief after a long winter.

Love your photos! Wish it looked like that here. It's another gloomy, rainy day, with more in the forecast. Trees are finally starting to get a tinge of green to them, but so slowly... can't blame 'em... it's cold out!

My 2 tulips that were blooming, as well as any remaining buds, disappeared overnight... I guess my repellent spray got washed off. Deer are so pretty, but....

I hope the beautiful flowers around you are curing the cabin fever! :-)

How beautiful! I remember arriving & just missing the height of tulip color...was that last year? Of course, it was still refreshingly green everywhere; not like here in Texas, where the AC had already been on for a month! It's not that bad this year, thank goodness. (I don't want to scare you off your upcoming visit!)
