Withdrawal: Chocolate fudge and computers

Hello! We're back! I think I'm experiencing chocolate fudge and pumpkin pie withdrawal. Not to mention, doting grandparent withdrawal.
We had a lovely holiday week. Hope you all did, too! Coming home, though, we found our computer reluctant (refusing) to function. I was fine for a week without it. Out of sight really was out of mind. But now that I'm walking past the thing every 5 minutes, I find myself experiencing withdrawal from my electronically-generated social and creative life.
I hope it won't be long, but just so you know, I haven't dropped off the face of the earth. I'm actually pretty excited to start some new projects. Especially after reading your nice comments on our embroidered handprints from last week. Thanks!
Stay tuned!

Hmmm...so my phone isn't working and neither is your computer...this could make communication difficult.

Can't wait for more posts. :)

I think it's cool that you can post without a computer. Must be some kind of telepathy, huh? Please give a tutorial. ;-)

Grandma G,
And give away my secret?? Never! No, I guess I wasn't detailed in my explanation. I have extremely limited use of A computer and NO use of OUR computer. My husband will attempt working his magic tonight and hopefully I'll be up and running again soon.
Amy,
I couldn't get our phones to work most of the day, either. Just a matter of misplaced wires, though, not a case of being laundered like yours.

Have you ever tried pumpkin fudge? Its yummy too. I refrained from making any this year since I'm on a no sugar/no flour kind of diet..only I do have some of each just not much. I feel much better for it....actually. I'm looking forward to seeing what you are making next! We are going to make the 'pop off' Christmas trees from bubble wrap in our Sunday Sch. class....if my sample turns out as cute as the one in 'Familyfundot com.

I feel your pain and addiction. My computer was broken for about 2 weeks and I seriously drove 30 mins to my parents house to check my email. I'm sure there is a support group for folks like us.

I adore your blog and am sorry you're in withdrawal from blog world and chocolate. That can be rough.

I made my own version of your felt jungle mat last month and just made a batch of them for our PTA craft fair this weekend. I posted one on my blog today. Stop by when you get a chance. It's not as fancy as yours but you get the idea! Thanks for sharing such a fun project.
